iBAM Course Field Trips
An Inside View
Field Trip Introduction
The field trip is an important element of the iBAM Course, giving participants the opportunity to visit a wider variety of business as mission companies and models. Each field trip group visits a number of different businesses in a particular country, meeting key leaders, seeing facilities, learning about a company's history and business operations. Participants are encouraged to ask questions, to find out what makes a company a business as mission enterprise and to see first hand the impact that business is making. In relation to the overall process of the iBAM Course, it is highly valuable for participants to see how classroom concepts and principles can be applied in real life.
The field trips take learning on the road, giving course participants the opportunity to engage with each other and new ideas in a different context. As well as learning from the business as mission practitioners themselves, field trips offer the added value of learning from fellow participants as the team journeys together and from experiencing new cultures and places.

Locations:
The iBAM Course in Chiang Mai is strategically located with good access to a number of great field trip locations. Each year we choose 3-5 field trip locations from the following countries: Thailand, China*, Vietnam, Cambodia, India* and Indonesia*. Participants are able to nominate their top field trip choices and we do our best to give each person their top choice, however we cannot guarantee this.
*These field trip locations have an additional supplementary flight cost.
