What

A life changing 5 month Discipleship Training School (DTS) in Asia. Learn about God, His world and His plans for business.

When

January 19, 2013 to June 22, 2013. 12 weeks of lecture and training; followed by 10 weeks of service, including a 6 week internship in an Asian business.

Where

Chiang Mai, Thailand, hosted by the International Business as Mission Resource Team; with opportunities to visit China, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam & India.

Cost

$6000 US dollars approximately for 5 months full-board and Asia-based travel.

 

Why DTS

God is on the move in the world.  This is happening as business men and woman begin to implement Biblical foundations into their daily business lives.  Business has power to transform communities and nations in Jesus' name. People no longer have to live in dire poverty; lives are literally rescued from slavery; churches are planted as people come to faith in Jesus; and communities grow when transformational businesses are established.

 

Transformation begins with us

You have an opportunity in the Business DTS to learn and prepare for this kind of global transformation.  We begin by learning about God, looking at his Father’s heart, His nature and character.  Our lives begin to be changed as we study together in class and live in community.  We then have the opportunity to work as interns with Kingdom businesses in Asia, learning practically how to implement the skills taught during the lecture phase.  There will be many times during this five month period where you will touch and change lives. DTS is about living and learning, where the things that you discover about God in class will be immediately applied to your life, and the lives around you.  God has called each of us to ‘go into all the world and make disciples’ Matthew 28:19.  Here’s your opportunity to go!
